The development of the Lamborghini Countach was initiated by Ferruccio Lamborghini with the goal of creating a worthy successor to the Lamborghini Miura.

The Countach was designed around the existing Lamborghini V12 engine in a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.

Named to honour the company\'s twenty-fifth anniversary in 1988, the 25th Anniversary Countach, although mechanically similar to the 5000QV, sported considerable restyling done by Horacio Pagani, featuring an enlargement and extension of the rear \'air-box\' intake-ducts as well as many other refinements. The Anniversary edition was produced up until 1990, which is when the Lamborghini Diablo was launched. This 1990 produced 25th Anniversary Edition was the most refined and is believed to be the fastest variant of the Lamborghini Countach.

This Stunning example was UK supplied in 1990 and is believed to be the only factory right-hand drive with 5167cc Webber carburetors and rear wing, in Australia. Having had just one owner from new, it has travelled a mere 600kms and is presented, fully wrapped and in perfect condition. This car was so loved that when it was supplied new to its owner, it was taken into storage immediately where a log was kept every 30 days for 23 years detailing everything from oil pressure to spark plugs and battery levels. Included in the history file is the original invoice from Portman Lamborghini, correspondence between the then owner and Portman regarding payment and deposits, original V5 registration document, first year original tax disc, owner’s manuals, original service book, original UK number plates, spare wheel, tool kit, jack, bulb set and Lamborghini gloves.

Imported into Australia in January 2022, it has been lovingly checked and every detail rejuvenated to ensure it presents and performs today, the same as it did the day it was released from the factory.
